Come and recommend me a SIM

Have decided that this year's addition to our camping kit should be SIMs for everyone. We've just camping mats until now, but I fancy a bit of extra comfort and warmth, plus dd1 has stopped co-sleeping now, and I'd like to be sure she's warm enough.

Friends in rl have recommended thermarest ones, but they're a bit pricey for us. Are there any cheaper options? I saw the other thread about Costco ones, which sound good, but are there any other options?

Should have said, there is me, dp and 2 dds, our budget is a max of £150.

We have a Vango 7cm double and 2 Hi Gear singles with raised edges for the kids. Ours was around £70 and I'm not sure how much the singles were, although I have just looked on Go Outdoors and they seem to be £50 each. I'm sure we did not pay that much though!

Thank you for the reply. I take it you're happy with them? I might be tempted to stretch the budget a little if I knew they'd last a good few years.

I'm struggling to find the ones with raised edges - are they these or these? Raised edges would be great for the dds.

Maybe I'm mean but we used to have good thermarest type SIM's for ourselves and something much cheaper for the kids because they will sleep on anything, and it is better for them not to have grumpy sleep deprived mums and dads who are putting up with poor quality sleep mats. But maybe that's just me!

People speak well of the Aldi ones, and I have used them for our kids with no complaints
