Campsite near Aberystwyth

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Needs to be good families, with good clean facilities. We are happy with fairly basic facilities but it needs to be clean and tidy.

Not keen on big holiday parks or places with a clubhouse.

All advice and suggestions would be great. Thanks.

How close do you need to be? Have a look at Nature base campsite near Cilcennin, think its about 45 mins from Aberystwyth. Really "proper" camping, we loved it.

That's gorgeous but it certainly isn't cheap. Would cost over £30 a night for my friends who have three kids.

We like Aeron Coast at Aberaeron just down the coast. It does have a very small clubhouse (bar and games room) and outdoor pool/play area - so may not be what you are looking for - but the camping bit is the other side of the caravans so you effectively just in a large field near the sea. Aberaeron is lovely.
