Not sure this is really "camping" but related, I think

We go cycling a fair bit (ok, not as much as I'd like to) and I like to have the basics with me - waterproofs, first aid kit, lunch for everyone. The kids contribute by carrying some of their own stuff in rucksacks, but I just hate cycling with a rucksack on. I bought a saddlebag / pannier thing, and that's great: until we go for a cycle to a place with a walk at the end to get to the place where we want to have our picnic.
Which actually happens quite a lot.
So what i really want is to find a pannier which I can pull off the bike and stick on my back for the walking / hiking bit. The only thing I can find at all is this
Can anyone help find alternatives, perhaps a bit bigger?
