Between Caen and Tours

We'll be arriving at Caen off the overnighter from Portsmouth and will have all day to get to our campsite. Can anyone recommend a nice town or village to stop and have lunch to break up the journey?

I drive from Le Harve to Amboise, usually only stop at the services on the motorway for fuel, loo breaks and snacks and aim to be at the campsite for 1pm'ish. It's about a 4 & 1/2 hour drive.

Thinking about it Le Mans would probably be nice.

Of course I will have the car stacked high with camping gear, roofbox and bikes.

Won't be able to wander far from the car! Silly me for forgetting.
