Camping virgin needs help!!!

We are considering buying a tent and would appreciate any help with what we would need.

we are a family of 5 and at the moment we are considering the sunncamp oasis 700 or a Vango vista 800dlx.

As we are complete novices we really haven't a clue as to what we would need in the terms of equipment etc. Although we do know that we want a tent with a sewn in groundsheet!Any help, advice etc would be greatly appreciated. thankyou.

Well, we've ordered an Outwell Hartford xxland the various other bits and pieces, can't wait now to go camping.

We're taking the new Tahoma we got yesterday (ordered, can't wait for postie!) out for four days over Whiysun.... yay!

Was very impressed with the company, within an hour of the order being placed I had a phone call telling me that everything had been dispatched and would be with me tomorrow.

Still need to get a few extra bits and pieces but we are going to a camping exhibition at the weekend and hope to get the rest there.

BUT- student grant on Monday! YAY

(being useless with money there will be none left by Friday however, though will make sure kids clothes bills all bought first!)
