Gutted, we all love Olly, but needs must sadly :o(

No! Why? We have one, bought it in April this year and we have such a good time in it. DH moaning about it now as its heavy on diesel and needs some work doing but I'm sure once spring is here he will love it again.

We will be selling ours too, unfortunately, as we just won't get to use it much this year and the running costs/repairs are costly. I feel your pain OP.

We bought ours last year and totally agree with the fuel and running costs and did discuss selling but we're going to persevere as love it when we're away. Got a proper big camping hol in France to look forward to!

We bought ours last Feb but only use it for family days out and holidays so its on classic insurance as we both have a car each, ths has helped us keep ours.

Reading all comments with interest, think we may bite the bongo bullet soon.

Am prepared for the fuel costs (I think), would look into classic insurance, not sure how much 'repair' costs to factor in, is a lot of that down to luck?

DP has been keen for a while and I've been hesitant, especially with concerns of never having any other sort of holiday.
Have recently decided however that now's the time, whilst DC are young and we haven't seen much of the UK, so it would be perfect from that point of view.

Would welcome encouragement / dissuasion from both camps
