Where to get gas/cannister/cyclinder for my new stove (N London)

Just bought this Campingaz Stove from amazon and realise that it doesn't come with any gas.
Am a complete novice and would like some advice as to where I get the gas from and where do I buy the cannister/cylinder from? Also, what's the difference between cannister and cylinder.
We'd like a smallish one as not keen on storing gas in our attic when not in use. I'm guessing it's safe to store when not in use?

Any advice much appreciated.

We have that stove. The type of gas you use is dependant on the regulator you buy. We dont use camping gaz as it is priciey - we use the larger bottles if anither type (sorry not v helpul.i know). Dont think that stove will run off cannisters - you will need regulator and cylinder. I was confused too when i first got it but luckly we have a gas store nearby and he sorted me out ( not london sorry)

I have that stove.

You will need to get a regulator (the valve connection that the hose connects to) and the right sort of gas. Calor Gas or CampingGaz are the options, I think. Does it have a regulator with it? If so take the regulator to a good DIY / gas supply stire and ask what bottles they have to fit. Otherwise i think i would google camping and caravanning places near you and call and ask them if they stock regulators and gas for that stove.

Sorry it seems so complicated.

But yes, you will need oine of the sturdy bottles, but they are not huge and last ages. Little cannisters don't. We store ours in the shed. The are expensive to buy as you have to pay the deposit on the gas bottle, then you just pay for re-fills. (swap empty bottle for full).

Am a s Londoner, so don't know where you would get gas and regulator in N London, sorry!
