Camped last week, great weather. Camping tomorrow night just with dp, not so good?

Dp and me are camping behind a pub tomorrow night but the forecast is poor. It's supposed to brighten up Saturday though. We had planned to cook but luckily the pub does food as don't fancy trying to warm up chilli if it's raining. The tent dp and I use is a Vango Halo 300 so not that big. Fab tent though, goes up and down so quickly so great for bad weather.

So this time tomorrow night I should be sat in a pub with a nice pint of real ale Grin

Anyone else got a trip planned? I know this is one night but I get so excited.

What a blast! We've camped there before but last night they had music on too, it's every Friday apparently? Us and another family plus some locals were all joining in. A guy who was staying at the pub did 3 songs as he could play and sing. I had copious amounts of real ale,as did dp. Also ate there which was lovely. Then off to the tent. It bucketed down all night and I couldn't sleep much with the rain banging down. But our tent is made for that sort of weather so no leaks Smile We just stayed in the tent snoozing until the sun came out then went off to a chilli festival.

This is the pub. They have stunning rooms too for £60 per room inc. breakfast. I think Dp and I will be staying there in the winter for a night or two? To camp behind the pub costs £5 and the loos stay open all night with plenty of hot water.

Wow £5!! Its like going back in time!! Pub looks lovely too. A while before we will be able to take such outings though...

Yes the pub's fantastic. I can't wait to go back.

We used to be members of the Camping and Caravan club and their certified sites are around the £5 mark usually.
