Camping at Breck Farm this weekend with a lilac bell tent, lilac VW camper and matching lilac trailer??

Because if it was I was Envy Envy Envy Envy

We were two rows down in our massive, ugly, but terribly practical Vango knocking back Wine and pretending not to gawp Grin

Oooh, I've just added a lilac VW camper to my 'in my dreams' wishlist.

It has to be a MNer.

TheFowlAndThePussycat · 13/08/2012 16:38

That's what I thought happyhorse, it surely must be a MNer.

I was going to go up for a proper snoop, but sadly they left the morning after we arrived. There were 1/2 a dozen lovely vans there this weekend

Not me - but I do love Breck Farm

lisad123 · 13/08/2012 16:59

I have been on a few camping trips and thought that others on site were Mnetters Grin

happyhorse · 13/08/2012 19:00

If only there was a Naice Ham flag that we could fly above our tents Grin

troutpout · 13/08/2012 19:07

We could drape naice ham over string as special mumsnet bunting.. So we would always know when a fellow mnetter was near?

happyhorse · 13/08/2012 19:10

It might attract flies, but on the whole I think ham would be preferable to mooncup bunting Shock

troutpout · 13/08/2012 19:24

Pmsl @ moon cup bunting
Grin

SlubberInAWrestlersLeotard · 13/08/2012 19:27

A naice ham fire bucket would be much more practical.

firepitguru · 13/08/2012 19:35

Wasn't it gorgeous?! We were there also drooling over said set up. Ahhh maybe next year...Smile

Caerlaverock · 13/08/2012 19:53

Lilac? How very

TheFowlAndThePussycat · 13/08/2012 22:24

Mooncup bunting Grin

Ooh were you there too firepitguru? We love it, it was our second trip there this year. Although I am slightly wary of the showers after a nasty incident last time which resulted in me encountering the elder gentleman farmer wearing only a towel (me not him!) accompanied by two soapy toddlers

Even DH was convinced that we should at least get some fairy lights or a flag to somewhat soften our strictly utilitarian kit. Dunno what he would think of using naice ham for the purpose though...

We certainly were TheFowl. We also love Breck Farm and have been every year for about 5. Haha the gentleman farmer...we encountered the farm dog in the shower this time.

Funniest moment had to be when my four year old just had to prove to himself that the pig fence was indeed electrified by touching it and saying in a startled voice and looking round accusingly, 'Someone just kicked me!' Hilarious!

Forgot my bunting but did remember my spotty oilcloth tablecloth...
