Featherdown Farms.... what to take?

I'm a seasoned camper in my home country - but new DP doesn't 'do' camping, so we've compromised and are going glamping with Featherdown Farms. I know I don't have to take all the normal stuff - just clothes and food....

But this feels like cheating! Is there other stuff we should take? We'll have three DS's under 7 yo, so will obviously need to entertain them, but is there other things that would be useful?

It looks like the car will be decidedly light for a camping trip!

Ooooh, lucky you! We went with 3 other families and handily one of the other dads is a chef and he whipped up amazing things in the evenings which we ate in one tent under the candle chandelier - absolutely gorgeous!
At ours it was a long walk from car to the tent and everything had to go in a wheelbarrow across a bumpy field (in the rain) so that's worth considering when you pack, and when you are at your tent your car might be some way away.
I would take extra blankets as it can be chilly at night and there wasn't an excess of bedding.
Foodwise there was an honesty shop with lots of farm produce so don't need to go mad on taking food. There was a chiller box in the tent which was basically an insulated trunk which you put ice filled hot water bottles in (from the farm shop freezer) and that kept things a bit cool, but definitely couldn't keep much cool that way.
Wet weather gear and outside games.
A major activity there was keeping the log burner stoked for purposes of warmth obviously but also so had hot water on tap for drinks, washing up etc - DP will love that - made my dh feel very manly :-)
At ours (Somerset) there was a farm tour (included) on offer - a few of the parents didn't do it and it was absolutely fantastic.
Torches!
Have a great time.
(Oh we had to make up beds when we got there and that took ages for some reason)

Thanks MrsBana (PS - Love Eric Bana - have you seen him in the Castle? Comedy genius!)

I was wondering about "fridge" facilities, so that's really helpful. I'm hoping it will be sunny days next week, but will take the extra blankets just in case (as well as the wellies!).

I'm sure we'll have a great time - DP is a little apprehensive as this is his first camping trip - but I keep telling him, it's not real camping and it'll be much posher than I'm normally used to! Grin
