Supposed to be going on our first camping holiday (in a tent) in Holland on Saturday - forecast rainy - am getting cold feet.

I am really panicking. Firstly at the pages and pages of pack list, but the weather forecast is for rain rain rain.

After our week camping, we will be travelling by overnight ferry, then 2 nights in a b and b, then a week in a small flat, so am worried if everything gets v wet and muddy I won't be able to dry if out, wash it etc. Basically I am panicking.

So, do I be brave and face the horrors of the 6 sides of pack list, or do I chicken out and ask if they have a caravan for hire?

Do they have a washing machine and tumble dryer on the camp site? If so, you will be able to wash things so they are clean and dry for the second part of the trip. Also means you can take less (in theory).

Dunno about on the campsite but in the flat there is a washing machi g. My concern is the huge 7m by 3 m tent getting soaked and muddy and us not having any way of drying out the huge wet muddy tent and camping paraphanalia
