Do any of you have them, for when you go camping?
If so - what have you got?

Campfire sites often issue you with a bucket of water, just in case there are accidents (never seen any). I am ultra paranoid, having seen those you tube videos of tents going up in flames, so keep a fire blanket and a stanley knife (securely hidden from Dds) in our bedroom inner, so that we could escape the tent on any side, ASAP.

I think never cooking in /near the tent; never having lit candles in /near the tent; never having campfires too near the tent (in case of straying embers) and never using tent heaters, is the safest approach.

Carla, that's really valuable advice. Thank you.
DH has packed his stanley knife after going a shade paler when thinking of how well a tent can trap someone in. Thanks LOADS for that - seriously.
