Is this a good tent deal?

Our local camping shop has a sale on atm. I've been coveting a Vango Tigris 800 for some time and they have a bundle with tent, canopy, carpet and footprint groundsheet for £579. What do you reckon? Worth going for?

That looks a pretty good deal and the Tigris 800 is a lovely tent!

Also buying locally you have the added benefit of being able to pop in if any issues occur.

Mmmm the tent looks quite good value elsewhere though. Is it just the 800 or the 800xl you want?

I reckon you might be able to find all your pieces cheaper elsewhere.
But then again you might want local dealer ... Is it an independent shop?

It's the XL and the 2012 model. It's a fab independent dealer so I may go with them - have never bought a tent from them but lots of other stuff.

Oh god yeah ... The xl is a different matter .....so that's a good deal
