Swanage and surrounding area early September?

We loved camping near Swanage and the surrounding area when me and DH were in our late teens, we used to go back to the same area year after year, we have moved down the dorset coast, through devon and cornwall. We are now thinking of revisiting this area with DD, 18 months.

My parents are loaning us their [pimped] trailer tent. It does need an electric hook up. Was thinking about booking a spot for about 4-5 nights, but may plan on pitching for a week and paying for my parents to have the first few nights before we get started.

We usually camped at East Creech but was wondering about trying somewhere new. Our families camped their when we were young so it does hold some nostalgia.

Looking for a quite site, prefer if it was closer to Studland, with an electric hook-up and decent loo's for DH [he is vair particular]. Any recommendations?

We used Norden Farm a couple of times a few years ago, it was okay and the last time we went they'd just done up the shower block rather well. No clubhouse, reasonable shop, and Studland a couple of miles. Lots of animals for children to go ooh at.

Downshay you don't need to book and they have electric hook up, very clean showers and toilets too. It's near Corfe so not to far from Studland, about 15 min drive.

I stayed at Tom's farm about 5 years ago when my DS was a toddler. Not sure if they do electric though, we were in a tent. I seem to recall very nice facilities including hair dryers IIRC.

Just back from a week at Ulwell Cottage Park. It was luffly. Nice quiet site, 5 min drive to studland/swanage beaches. Shower/Toilet block has been done up recently and showers are free. Pitch was £19/night and included a free pass to the indoor swimming pool on site. Would recommend and will use them in the future.
