We're thinking of booking in here as a nice half way point with other members of the family. Has anyone camped here recently?

I went last summer and it was lovely - it was when we had a few HOT days so I'm sure that helped too.

The site is on a slope, but we found a nice spot. Bit of a walk to the loos etc as they are at the children's farm itself, but there were event loos in the camping field too. There was only one shower, but plenty of loos, and a separate large disable loo allowing for a wash etc if the shower was busy.

Children got to help out on the farm before openning time which was a real treat (not sure it's really meant to be on offer, but they were keen!). The farm has a children's play area too, which you can access 'out of hours'. You can also hire a fire pit which really added to the atmosphere - and allowed for marshmallow toasting!

It wasn't cheap for the facilities available, but it was a lovely spot and we all had a gret time.

Hope that helps.
