Bell tent repair

Has anyone any experience of mending a hole in their bell tent?

We went on our first trip with the Soulpad last weekend. We took our puppy's crate with us and put it too close to the edge, so during the night when it was really windy the tent rubbed against a sharp bit on the crate and made a hole in it :(

I thought there would be a repair kit on the Soulpad site, but I can't see one.

Also, a crow pooed on it so any tips about removing bird poo would be most welcome.

Tear Aid from BellTent.co.uk could be the answer to your hole problem.

Whatever you do, don't use anything like washing-up liquid to get rid of the bird poo or that bit will lose it's waterproof ability.

Wait till dry, scrape off what you can and then microfibre cloth and warm water did it for ours.

Will try the microfibre cloth on the stain too.
