pillows

What do you do about pillows? Have already decided we are taking single duvets for all of us.

5 of us, at home we have 2 pillows each, I can 't fit 10 pillows and 5 duvets in the car, even in vacuum bags.

So I have bought 5 x poundland inflatable pillows and we are taking 5 normal pillows as well, thought we could use the inflatables underneath.

Are we all going to have neck ache by the first morning, should I tell everyone to lump it and it's one pillow each or I can't fit buckets/spades, diggers, balls etc in? Confused

I just have to have my proper bed pillow - but DS and DP are more than happy with one of those small squashy log-shaped pillows filled with tiny bean-bag type beads that you buy as travel or car pilows - at least we bought ours in a motorway service station!

this sort of thing

They are squashier and mould to your head more than an inflatable pillow, and comfy for a long car journey too.

this one looks better

The children have got some of those in the car Blu, they use them for sleeping in the car, not that the older two do that much anymore.

Hadn't thought of telling them to use those, brilliant I think you've just solved the problem, will make them all try lying down on them when they get in from school.

Will be squashing my 2 pillows in front seat with me though Grin DH can have an inflatable rubbish one

We have these with a jumper folded up underneath. But we're a low-pillow-maintenance kind of family.

slubber don't think we are a low-pillow-maintenance family really, well ok I'm not, don't think kids will care as long as we are on holiday.

Jumpers/coats folded under a pillow each might work though. With the round pillow things that Blu suggested from the car if they want them.
