Best guidebook for Annecy area?

Hi,

We will be camping in Annecy area (near south of the lake) and are looking for a little guidebook so we can see what is available to do (we have young DC's).

Would a French Alps book be sufficient or is there a specific one available for that area? Have searched on Amazon, but the Annecy ones all seem to be for hiking.

We will just be driving up to the mountains with a picnic every day and letting DCs "run wild". Driving over the cols to Italy is a good experience, one which can only be done in summer. Am sure there will be lots going on in Annecy too. Don't know of any guide books, sorry. Maybe check the Office du Tourisme web sites which tend to be good.
