Ile de Re? Anyone?

Thinking of going there, as a stop off for 4 days on the way to our destination further down south.

I'm looking at the Flowers site, in particular, so any feedback will be gratefully received.

We're there in August. Staying at La Grainetiere where we stayed last year. Beautiful campsite with the cleanest pool and hot tub I have ever seen on a campsite. Not the most expensive on the island either. Saw some slightly dodgy reviews of Flower campsites on the island, but can't remember where and haven't seen them in the flesh. Expensive toll across the bridge also worth taking into account. The island is lovely though - just how family beach holidays should be.

I don't know anything about the camping but its a beautiful island. Quiet and unspoilt on the whole.

Lovely place. A bit out of the way for a stop over but worth it if it's for 4 days. I don't know about the camping.
