Caravanning in Wales

We're thinking of returning to our homeland with the caravan from sunny Devon...Can anyone recommend a good caravan site in South Wales, preferably between Newport and Swansea? Would like electric hook up and water preferably...

It's windy in Wales...really windy...get some storm tie downs Grin

Can't recommend any in the south though sorry. We were blown away in a northern site!

We've stayed here a few times and it's a great spot.

There are some great sites in the Gower but some are quite tricky to get a caravan to...lots of narrow lanes.

There is a campsite at Tredegar House, Newport, which has just become a National Trust Property and has lovely grounds. There is also one at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Not sure what either of the campsites are like but both would be a good base for travelling around south wales - we walk the dog in the nearby parks!
