Campsite for Wembley

DH has persuaded me that we all need to go to the play off finals at Wembley next weekend! If we're travelling down from Yorkshire, then I'd quite like to make a weekend of it and have the Sunday in London. Have been looking at some campsites and wondered if anyone had any opinions on them?

I've been looking at Abbey Wood, Highclare Farm and Crystal Palace. We're not really bothered about facilities as it will just be a bed for two nights - it's the ease/price of getting to Wembley/central London that will decide it!!

Thanks Smile

Highclere Farm is lovely and 20 mins straight down on the Chiltern Line into Wembley Stadium station (I live in Wembley, and have stayed at Highclere Farm).

You'd have to do some reasonably lengthy tube hopping to get from Abbey Wood or Crystal Palace to Wembley. Highclere is basic, with everything you need. The surrounding countryside and villages are just lovely - very traditional English, chocolate box countryside.

The Chiltern Open Air museum nearby is lovely, as is Milton's Cottage. There's a Roald Dahl museum at Great Missenden, wildlife centres etc all easy distance away.
