Having spent my first night (since girl guides) actually cooking over a real fire I have got the bug. The cooking equipment belonged to a friend. A grill that sat over the fire and a couple of decent flat pans.
I've been looking at Dutch Ovens or cast iron skillets but could do with some advice.
Can you use a Dutch Oven on a bbq? If you put coals on the lid does it spill into the food when you take the lid off?
Is it worth the bother when you've got to do it all yourself?
