Isle of Wight and/or Brittany - any favourite campsites?

Planning a couple of camping trips and trying to avoid the larger looking sites on the Isle of Wight. Anyone stayed anywhere the right side of basic? Also Brittany for the summer - really flexible, can go anywhere but access to beaches highly desirable... again, really not looking for facilities, just ambience! Thanks!

We're going to try one www.heathfieldcamping.co.uk/out in the summer but as we haven't yet been I can't recommend it!

Site in Brittany that we loved was camping de la baie near carnac. Right on the beach

We stayed at Whitefield Forest on the IOW a couple of years ago and had a lovely week, the facilities are fairly basic, toilet/shower/laundry block, small forest play area and small shop in reception, but it was nice and quiet, full of families with young children. The right side of basic would be a very good description.

Thanks for ideas so far - will def check out Whitefield WKWTTG! and the Carnac site sounds smashing. We were camping over Easter (Wowo, Sussex - massive fans!) and there was frost on the tent two mornings running....
