Which bell for someone with Dutch relatives?

bear with me, you'll see where I'm going
We're getting a 5m, finally decided after much toing and fro ing

Now where from....

I'm not fussed about the 'genie' bit from soul pad. We've 2 small children to trip over a stove and by the looks if it the stove is £200 and the flue £190 Shock so we don't need the hole

I do want a zip in ground sheet so that leaves us the hybrid for £450

Now it just so happens that we've got relatives in holland

I've heard talk of savings to be made by buying from obelink. They don't ship to the uk, but we could have it sent via relatives. But. And I'm rubbish at marks at the best of times and I'm a sleep deprived mess very excited

From what I can see, with no Dutch to my name,
this is the souldpad hybrid equivalent. I make it about £409. So by the time we've had it shipped payed commission on overseas payment, that won't be much of a saving will it?

Shall I just go soulpad, but their twatty ethos silly website bugs me a bit? But that's a silly reason

Or is the little saving worth it? I could put it towards a tarp

Help meeeeedd

I drove over to obelink to buy ours, what about combining a trip to see relatives?

We went for the zig, 5m and don't regret it at all. The other thing to think about, soul pad don't sell the tarps (you'd have to go to bell tent.co.uk for that), obelink do and they're much cheaper as are the inners if you want one of those.

Ooo fab thanks ifeeloved

Did you go for the most expensive of the three? I can't figure out the difference between the cheaper two (not being Dutch)

I am really struggling to make a decision. I do want the tarp, but the uk obelink site has those, I think there isn't much price difference

Is this your tarp?

Does it fit snugly to the entrance? I can't see how it would as both ends look pointy

I'm so confused. Now we've decided to definitely get one I just want to do it but am all bamboozled

Just

Yes that's the one, it's basically a square, it's not snug (or even ideal!) but it's the best there is atm! I will have a quick look at which tent it is

It's the Sahara 500 ultimate. Which is basically the same as the soul pad 500 hybrid and the bell tent 5m ultimate.

Just so you know, the cheapest is the one with the separate groundsheet, the middle one has the sewn in groundsheet. I would go for either separate or zipped in, then you have the choice on a hot day of rolling the sides up.

Also, the zig has a thicker groundsheet than the other 2.

Happy shopping!
