Tent in Italy - July!

We're looking at going to either the Venetian coast or Tuscany in July with Eurocamp or Canvas holidays. Do you think it would be too hot at night in a tent? The cost of mobile homes is huge so looking at all the options. Also any recommendations for good campsites much appreciated.

To be honest, We live in spain and id never consider camping in the summer, presumably it will be similar temperature. What about later on, eg sept, oct? Would be much cooler. And dont forget the bloody mosquitos....

Yes it will be too hot, it will ruin it. We stayed in Italy in may 2 years ago. We went for a caravan with air conditioning and it was still really warm. People who hadn't pre-booked the air con were leaving after a day or so, it was just too much.
