Quecha 4.2 base seconds vs quecha 4 man pop up

Hi
I'm new to camping and a single parent so am v impressed by the quecha tents for easy pitching. I have 3 sons 2,4 & 9. The 2 bedroom 4.2 tent seems ideal for us but it is twice as expensive as the 4 man one bedroom tent in Decathlon. Is it worth it? Don't really want to all squeeze into one room but then again it costs less than a hundred pound! :)

the difference is that you can stand up in the 4.2. It's a lovely tent. My friends have one and it really is quick to put up and down. It also has enough room to sit in the living area. The smaller, cheaper tent has hardly any room for anything other than sleeping.

I would definitely pay out more and get the 4.2 rather than the 4-man pop-up. The weather in this country is so unpredictable that you usually need somewhere to shelter if it rains and the 4.2 will be much more comfortable for that.

Thanks I'll check them out in Decathlon.

I have the 4 man pop up. I've only used it once so far and found it surprisingly spacious. But we are just two adults and a 2.10yo. I think we could stand up. I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure I would remember if we had to stoop at all (DH is 6').

The living area is roomy enough for four to sit round a table to eat but I think with three children you would find it cramped for hanging around in if the weather's bad.
