Wide "pod" sleeping bags

I've seen some sleeping bags that are almost oval shaped - wide in the middle, but can't remember where. Has anyone got one? Are they good? I quite fancy the thought of having lots of space but still snug at the top.

I've got one - it's fab. So much better than a mummy or rectangle sleeping bag that I find too restrictive.

I have a gelert muscovy xl pod from the sleeping bag shop.com.

I like my gelert as I sleep curled up, but do find it on the short side

We love our Gelert ones. Very snugh and much easier to move around in.

They look comfortable - but do they roll up to be as small and light as a mummy bag?

I'm only 5' 3" so perhaps the length would not bother me.Thanks I will look iat the gelert ones.

Baileyscoffee - I have just looked at them and am leaning towards the standard size due to smaller packing size - do you mind me asking you what size you are given that you have the XL pod?

LOve mine and DH loves his (he struggles with claustraphobia so these are great. We poicked up ours from Halords but I think they were gelert.

I'm 5ft 9 with 33in legs so really need the xl.

It fols down to around the size if a bed pillow folded in half iykwim.
