I bought a second hand Gelert Atlantis with a porch and put it up for a trial run this afternoon, but I couldn't figure out how to attach the porch to the tent (and there aren't any instructions). Does anyone have any ideas?
There's a guy rope on either side of the porch with a small hook on the end, which I think attaches to the ring at the bottom of the first tent pole, but I don't know how I'm supposed to secure the top of the porch. The tent poles slide through a fabric tunnel so aren't exposed for tying anything on IYSWIM.
Also there are two thick yellow cords coming out from the front of the porch - wide flat straps not regular guy ropes - which are a bit of a mystery.
I was looking forward to seeing it in all it's spendidness but had to admit defeat - plus it must have been put away damp as it smells musty and is a bit grubby too
