For many years, I used a tent. Camped with 3 children with it!! Then my Xh and I found an awesome deal on a 20 ft MO. Wow. LOVED it! We still brought our tent for the kids, as I didn't want them climbing/playing in there all the time and there wasn't enough room anyhow. We ate outside etc. Only used it for sleeping and if it rained. Loved it.

I loved the fact I didn't have to repack, reload, gather up, everything to go camping. All we had to do was jump in and go! For traveling with my large family, it was cheaper than using hotel rooms, restaurants.

Well, my family is down to only 2 kids. (New partner too, who knew nothing about camping Confused We still love to camp 2 months out of the year. My MO broke down last year and we returned to tenting.. Yuck. lol I luckily found another MO, this time a 30 ft. It was less than $2,000!!! It needs a bit of TLC, inside, but otherwise works excellent. I'm stunned at it needing 6... Yes, count, 6 BATTERIES!

Obviously it will be more expensive to run, so we don't plan on travelling far. Finding a campground we like, park for a month, and try another site for a month.

If we are travelling, we bought a small utility trailer to haul our "tenting" gear...

We love, love camping.... My adult children, still love coming with me. I am soo excited about this year! I love cooking outdoors, being outdoors.

I also don't allow DS, Ipods, etc.etc. As this time is for nature, and spending quality time with the family.

:) :) :)
