Can't wait. Camping fever hit yesterday, so I booked a long weekend in June. Making the most of having a toddler and me working PT.

I'll be 5 months pregnant, and 6.5 when we go back to Pembs in August. Is this insane? We do have all the usual camping luxuries - airbeds (with duvets; don't do sleeping bags!), big folding chairs etc, so hopefully it'll
be perfectly manageable.

Also, the grill they provide as standard - is that wood fired? Just wondering if we need the gas cooker at all ...

Holidays are coming Smile

I've just had a gander at their website... looks fab! Nothing left in school hols though.

We went there couple of years back in May. We had a lovely time. They didn't provide a grill when we went but we had fires every night. Think the first basket of wood was free then you paid if you wanted more. Had to chop it yourself too!!

Excellent! Obvs DH will have to do the chopping, and I'll have to hope we're not too far from the loos. Is the beach walkable with a toddler? (a very capable 2.4 year old)

we went last year. it is really really fab. my kids still talk every day about one of the dogs there.

the grill is to go over the fire pit, so yes do take your own stove. no walkable beaches, sorry. but so many fab ones once you get in the car.

re being close to the loos - i'd get in touch with gary and let him know re being pregnant and mention toilets. pitches are on a first come first serve basis, but he is very nice and might reserve you one.

i am so jealous!
