has anyone used this company? I'm curious why there is availability and a reasonable price for accommodation during a school holiday when the big players (canvas, euro etc) don't have availability :)

Maybe it's because no-one has heard of them? How did you come across them?

Website looks good, I'm off for a browse!

I don't remember how I heard about them... but I have the brochure here. I'm terrible for requesting brochures.

I thought they looked alright too, Chippy!!

I just priced up a typical holiday (2 weeks in mobile home in Vendee, school holidays) and it was 1300 euro. This excludes a Channel crossing, but that's only about £100 anyway. Similar with one of the big UK operators is in excess of £2k.

I'm planning a independent holiday travelling to south of France by train with the DC this summer, otherwise I would definitely be taking a closer look at Flower. The canvas bungalows look gorgeous!

I think that they are cheaper because they're not tour operators like Eurocamp/Keycamp, rather an alliance/marketing network of independent campsites. Also, in France high season is really just July - 20ish Aug rather than the entire UK school holidays your dates might be 'off season' to them. Other reason is that they are mainly 2/3 star sites (some are ex camping municipals) rather than the busy busy bells and whistles Yelloh/Castels 4 & 5 stars (stars relate to facilities rather than quality). I've not been to a Flower campsite but have spent a long time looking at the brochure and am planning to visit at least one when we go to France in August with our own tent.

I haven't heard of them before. The website looks great. I've requested newsletter and brochure.

Thanks kiwibella.
