Me and dh want to go away for weekend in April/May, just the two of us. I've looked at glamping, yurts etc but all seem to expensive or commercialized. So does anyone know of any little, romantic camping hideaways? Ideally no further than a mile and a half drive from Birmingham, but we would go further if It's perfect.

Fforest in Cardigan - just head West but no idea how long the drive is.

you might try here forestsidefarm.co.uk/; its just up the road from us. Very pretty and there's a good pub for food etc in Denstone, our village? Some really good walks here and Ashbourne's just up the road if you want to wander round a georgian town for an hour or two. a few really good delis etc there.
