I need a new sleeping bag ......

Dp and I both have mummy style bags. I've never liked it - too constricting. Joy of joys, at the end of last season dp's zip broke. So I have helpfully suggested he has mine and I can get a new one. Yay.

So, I think I would like a 3 season rectangle bag. What's your bag and would you recommend it?

Thanks Smile

Mine is too old to be a recommendation (wonders if I could break zip before summer) but I believe Vango do a 3 season rectangle bag.

this I think

I normally sleep in a 3-4 season bag and often need a blanket over if it's nippy outside.

We bought these last year after foolishly buying fantastically warm bags but in a mummy stylee. Bad move and led to bad moods.

I found these last year and they are brilliant. No more wriggling just rest.

We'll use the mummy ones for over the top when necessay but for spring summer the lounger ones are great.

Thanks, some good suggestions! I do like the look of those pods - I think the Tesco lounger is a similar sort of thing. Will keep an eye out to see if it comes back into stock. Is it warm though - it's only a 2 season?

DH and I both had pods last year and loved them. DH suffers with cluastraphobia and hated the old sleeping bags. With these he was happy.
(we managed to pick ours up in Halfords on sale.
