Those with experience of eurocamp style hols in France...which type of site best for mixing with other toddlers?

Thinking of booking a week in June with Eurocamp at the Port de Limeuil site as it looks amazing! We have 2 DSs who will be 2yo and 7mo. We are pretty self sufficient but it is always nice to bump into other families with similar aged kids. I am suddenly concerned that such a quiet site may be deserted in June and that to increase our chances of seeing other families we should perhaps choose a bigger more commercial site with more toddler activities? Think may be choosing site that we would have liked pre children! Any thoughts?

It's been a while, but we went every year when my DC were toddlers.

Don't know the site mentioned in the OP, but these were my criteria:

Not too long a drive - Brittany or the Vendee are lovely in June, not too hot, so not too much faffing with hats and suncream.

Check out all the operators and see what facilities they offer.
A stairgate on the mobile is handy, to stop the DC falling out of the door and down the steps. Some toilet blocks have baby baths available, if your DC won't go in the van shower.

Paddling pool is handy. If it's heated, so much the better. Also good place to meet other people with toddlers.

Some of the operators have kids clubs geared to toddlers in June/early July. You have to stay with them, but they usually have lots of play equipment, craft stuff etc. that you can use.

We found that going in late June, there were quite a few Irish visitors with children, as the schools break up earlier.
