Last year we were spoilt - we went to River Dart Country Park - loads to do, great facilities (and fantastic weather).
I need somewhere for this year (start of summer hols)- thinking South(ish) - Somerset down.... quite like the idea of being nearish to Weymouth (but far enough away) to soak up some Olympic atmosphere.
Can anyone recommend a camp site (tent) with large pitches, good facilities (no separate payment for hot water), maybe a bar/cafe on site, good space and possibly activities for the kids to play? (ie put up a badminton net, knock a ball around)
I always think recommendations are the best way to go, although a fair amount of googling and searching on ukcampsite has already taken place.
