Is anyone else ridiculously excited about a new year of camping?

I was a camping virgin until last summer and now i'm hooked! I can't wait until it gets warm enough to start going again!! Where are you all planning on going and what are you buying? I'm in love with icey teks although dh is in need of convincing!

Meeee! My twins were born in July so we didn't camp at all last year. We've got 2 weekends and a week booked already for this summer to make up for it

last year was my first year too. i lurked on the camping threads a lot.

i have been beavering away online over winter and already have some key new purchases. most exciting is an old fashioned frame tent. it's a turquoise and red bungalow type thing that has "marriage breaker" written all over it.

have booked a week in france and am hoping for a week in pembrokeshire and bestival. anything else is weather dependent

Planning a few early summer trips, 2 weeks in france August and hopefully an autumn trip.

Purchases for this year will be ehu, electric cool box and fairy lights that last longer than 4 minutes.

I love outdoor, but since been in this country for the last 15 years I never actually go camping. I went camping quite a lot back in my old country since the weather was hot and humid, jungle treking was part of it. New Year resolution I was thinking of started camping again and will get all the kids and DH going to Wales in the summer and see how it is.
