ok, have decided on a tent......getting a soul pad 5m bell tent. [squeal]

It's everything else I need really.....though I have a few bits from when I used to camp.

So I have a 4 season sleeping bag, a snugpak one. It's 18 years old, is it likely to still be as warm as it should be or should I get a new one?

I have an old camping stove, double hob and a grill on it so think that's fine.

[[What do I need to put Under the stove. Dh melted a groundsheet once with it and another year I set a field on fire. Would Something like this aluminium table be ok or would that melt/catch fire?

seats/chairs. - what's the most comfy? I've seen pics of tents with inflatable sofas in which look ace though I imagine in reality they're a pain to blow up.

I have old thermarest self inflating mattresses, are these as good as the Fat Arics?

Cool box - I've seen icey teks mentioned on here and was thinking of getting one of those.

I've got pots, plates, cutlery. So the only other thing I think I need is a ehu plug lead thingy.

Oh and I need a heater. I'm maybe getting a stove at some point but to start with I'd like some form of plug in heater, any recommendations? And any recommendations for lighting. I've got a head torch but thinking of more for illuminating the tent.

Aggh, god knows what I did to that link in the middle. I was trying to ask what do I need to put a gas stove on to stop me setting fire to stuff. Would a table like this be ok

table

That looks like a handy table. But I would be looking at your camping stove - I have one of those double hob plus grill stoves and it has never even scorched the grass it sits on, so I'm not sure why yours has been setting fire to things?
