How on earth am I supposed to find the puncture in an inflatable mattress?

Or do I just give up and buy a new one?

Fill the bath up with water, inflate the mattress and put it into the bath. Look for the bubbles and there will be the hole. Smile

Hmmm. That's what I thought.

It would be shockingly wasteful to just buy another, wouldn't it?

Yup, very easy to repair Smile

Inflatable airbed is easy... But mattress with squashy stuff inside will get all wet on the inside surely if you immerse it ?.... Not sure what else to do though! One of ours has a puncture too.... Am avoiding thinking about it atm

Belle, we have tried that, but it has never worked for us.

Just buy a new one Smile

put under water, find hole, draw around hole with permanent marker, allow mattress to dry, mend hole?!

or just buy a new one! :)

The mending is easy, it's the finding of the hole. We did it once before when the paddling pool was out, but lordy what a faff.

Anyway, I've been lucky this time, I inflated it and just happened to see the hole near the inlet valve thingy.

Job done!

(I would have bought a new one, btw)
