How cheap is Haven????!!

Just booked one night, to take DS and his friend for a trip in our campervan. For 2 adults and 2 children including all the facilities on offer ... £7.50.

I've been to Haven before, so am aware that it's probably not the classiest place in the world, but that's so cheap. Just thought I'd mention it in case anyone was looking for somewhere for a last fling before the end of summer.

wow, that is good. We camped at Littlesea in July, and it was great value and the campsite was v v clean and nice

We are going for 3 nights the weekend after next as dc's have an inset day.

3 nights at haven clacton in a tent with electric and access to pools etc for £24 all in. Our normal campsite is just a field with a toilet and shower and they charge £24 per night.

Am hoping that as it is getting to end of season it should be a bit quieter.

We've booked for 7 nights in October at Burnham on sea £93 for a big caravan on a euro pitch. It's cheaper than a basic site and only 10 miles from storage site, just a pity storage site is so far away.

We are going next weekend, 2 nights for £6! booked through caravan club.

It's a break and the pools warm!

Thank you! Just booked Filey for half term - 4 nights for £20 Not holding any high expectations but simply the bonus of indoor facilities and a pool if it is cold is great. And if it's truly awful, we come home early! Got to be worth a risk for £20!!!

Hi Smith, we've just been to filey this week- have to cofess we came home a day early - but only cos we were in a static and the bed was unbearably uncomfortable, really would have been comfier in our tent and prob warmer too!

Pools are good even if the other entertainment stuff isn't our kind of thing - oh and filey beach is wonderful!

Thanks MrsMc82. We went to Haven a few years ago & the worst thing was def the state of the caravan . But we have our own clean, warm, comfy caravan, have no intention of using the entertainment and the bonus of their pool .
