extension for Quechua base seconds 4.2

Has anybody got one of these? We used our Quechua for the first time this week and it was great, plenty of sleeping room. I just wondered if we got the extension, we'd be better off storage-wise - my only gripe as I was forever tripping over stuff. Very happy with it overall though.

We have the base seconds as an extension and use it as a kitchen and storage area for wet shoes/wellies etc. It works really well for this and is just as simple to pitch as the 4.2.
