Mildew

Hi all,

I am watching an Outwell tent on ebay that apparently has mildew. On closer questioning it is confined to the bedrooms and there is no smell although there are several areas.

Would you buy a tent in this condition? And is there any way to remove this?

I always thought that mildew affected its "waterproofness"...(can't think of a better word!)

I doubt you'll be able to remove it and I couldn't live with it so wouldn't buy it, are there pictures? If so can you link to them?

I suppose I wouldn't be so bothered if you couldn't see or smell it...

They had one picture on the listing where it extended oer about 10cm and was very obvious. Apparently there are several other similar areas.

Have to say that I was reluctant and you have both confirmed that I am probably right to be! I'll keep looking...
