We're going here for a few nights at the end of August - does anyone have any tips about places to eat / visit etc nearby? Have 3 DC and need to keep them occupied! Am hoping that the campsite itself will provide lots to do - just basically exploring / running around - but would welcome any recommendations about the surrounding area too.

I camped there a few years ago, it is beautiful and a brilliant campsite! When we were there, they had an honesty fridge selling milk and cheese and bacon (This was about 6 years ago now!) There will be plenty to do on site, up the hillside there is a waterfall and beautiful veiws as you climb up to the very top. Near by I think there is a place you can go and see Red Kites and see them feeding?Again, with a beautiful walk too.
