Electric coolbox with no EHU?

We have the lovely Aldi electric coolbox but are going camping this weekend with no EHU. A silly question really but do you think we should take the electric box? Will it work ok as a standard coolbox with ice in it? Not sure if I should just plump for a smaller coolbag/box instead as it is quite large.

Ooh don't know! We have that aldi coolbox too ( brill ) and I debated the same thing last year but then chickened out and bought a Coleman extreme for non ehu as we were going for a week . Might have chanced it for a weekend though!. I mean... It is insulated isn't it? And as long as you keep it cold ( maybe freeze your milk beforehand ?)... The insulation should do the job?

I'm late to this, but yes, it's worth doing. Whenever you go out in the car, plug it in and give it a boost. Otherwise just use your cooly blocks as you would with a standard box.
