The photo of the windshield with the bivouac stove - how high is it? I cant use pegs as my little wee table is going to be a slab of tree, but thinking the shield could be a handy extra, but wasnt sure how high it should be to save being stupidly ineffectual.

I've just gone out to measure the sheet of metal and it is 25cm in width.

Not sure how you would attach it to your slab of tree without the pegs though.

The metal isn't quite tall enough to come up above the flame (because the stove legs are quite tall), but because it's held in place by bending it inside the pegs you can slide it up off the ground so it shields the area you want shielding.

Was about £6 from b&q.
