Scrapping my caravan?

Went to pick up our ancient caravan yesterday and the rear indicators weren't working. Also no way DS's cot bed side will fit on bunk (as I was hoping)

I'm hoping the contacts just need a bit of a clean but given that there is no way it's worth spending any money on the van, if I can't get it roadworthy what should I do with it?

It's a 197something Sprite Ariel, it's very cute (but filthy on the outside) with some water ingress to the front wall which has now been addressed. As these were made before foam insulation etc I'm not too worried about mould etc in the panels and we've had some lovely times in it. Any chance anyone would want it do you think?!?

3 berths no loo has working gas hob & grill plus lighting plus solar panels to run a battery off.

It's in Norfolk by the way.

D0G whereabouts are you? Let me know if you're serious and we can have a chat about it!

If I can't get her working again I would much much rather she went to someone who could rather than be junked Sad

When I was younger, my friend had a 2 berth caravan as her playhouse- it was so cool and I was very Envy

Ask around local sellers. you want little back yard ones. Take a look at my pics and see what we did to our caravan. We found a bloke that bought them trashed and used the parts for others 'vans, or bought them near-complete and used parts from wrecked ones. The state that was in, and we got £100 for it!

You could also try listing it on preloved
