Rooks!

I can handle the sound of snoring from across the field.
Even the sound of other peoples children crying,a bit of me is just so glad it's not my kids.
But the dam Rooks, what a racket sunrise and bloody sunset.

Did you not take your catapult?

Rooks are loud enough through closed double-glazed windows so I can imagine what they must be like through canvas.

they have ruined many a trip for me, when they put me near trees my heart sinks.

I love the sound of rooks!

we camped with rooks for the first time last week - the noise was bearable, the poo on the tent less so

they were funny though, every time we sat down to eat outside they'd fly down and pace up and down watching us!

I feel like i'm being stalked by the same wood pigeon wherever we go.

There is one outside our bedroom window makeing the woo woo wooooooooo noise every few seconds at 4.30am this time of year and we always hear the same when camping. Even followed us to Holland last week.
