Novice camper, love the look of this tent and the reviews, do you think it is big enough for 4, on a rainy day will we be-able to move about and not kill each other lol

proper link

I would personally want something bigger.

IMO you need to go for a tent that sleeps 2 more people than camp in it (so if 4 of you then go for a 6 berth)..... by the time you get a table, boxes containing food, pots and pans, chairs etc into the 'living' area there wont be much room for you. A small tent is ok for a weekend when you get good weather but otherwise i would go bigger if you can.

bubbles - it depends on the age/size of the 4 - if 2 young kids I would think that was plenty big enough if your on sleeping mats but would want to check the size of the 'bedrooms' if you're on airbeds as they are generally wider-

Thanks guys,

well I have reserved both the colorado 4 and 6 for looking at tomorrow so we'll compare then, can just about afford the 6 so may well have that and leave the carpet and extra nice acessories till later in year ;)

many thanks xxx

Always go for bigger than you think you'll need.
We're just about to upgrade our little "4" man dome tent to something else with sleeping pods as it's ok for just dh and I, but with dd and some rainy weather we just need more room.
