It must be light as it's a long way from the car park to the campsite. (Festival)
I take Smash. Maybe some pot noodle type things. Is there anything dry and light but nicer than pot noodles?

I would pre cook food and then reheat it rather than eat pot noodle.

Omelettes, although eggs might be tricky to pack.

Baked beans with sausages in.

Pancakes are yummy (take pancake mix in a bottle).

Pasta n sauce

cup a soup and crackers.

Enjoy your camping

Not sure about nicer, but just as easy, light and compact are the Batchelors Savoury Rices and Pasta n Sauce packs.

There are also some ok couscous mixes in the supermarkets and you can get Free World curry pouches in Tescos which you could take along with some prebagged rice.

Mmm like the sound of free world curry. Will look into the Batchelors rice too. It seems to taste a bit nicer outside somehow. I bring ready chopped onions and carrots to fry up and add.

Second the couscous. Can do so much with it, and it weighs nothing.
