Do roofboxes fit on any roofbars?

I just got a second hand set of roof bars for my car so we can get a roofbox. I want to buy one on ebay but not sure if I need to have a specific one or if they just fit universally. Anyone know?

Yes, I think that roofboxes fit on any roofbars. You must have the correct roofbars. Make sure you lock the roofbars onto the runners so and the box onto the bars so that no-one can take them.
