Can you recommend a 2 person tent for ds1 and ds2 to take on a short trip?

Ideally should be idiotproof easy to erect lightweight and big enough for the boys who are 12 and 14 and a small amount of kit. It's for a 3 day activity trip.

We've got a terra nova voyager - small, lightweight and easy to put up (only three poles). You can fit two in there (DH and I have used it a few times) plus space for stuff at your feet. Although we used to keep our bags in the "porch". It would be pretty cramped for anything more than a few days.

It was quite pricey so not sure you'd want to buy new - but maybe look for a similar shape?

Vango Halo are lightweight and compact. Or I love my Quechua pop up - 3 man plus porch - can't remember the name!!

Bump, that Quechua pop up looks ideal. And has the added advantage of being cheap as well!

Got a Quechua pop up two man tent in the end and we have just let the boys camp out in the garden for the weekend. It's great! Went up in seconds, ds1 pegged it down and there was even room for ds3 as well! Think getting it back in the bag might be a challenge but we are tackling that tomorrow!
